It is the first ever sports activity coupe of the world, which provides a distinctive combination of unrivalled character, sporty dynamics and versatility. Select pioneering features and design upgrades further home the profile of X6 as unique model within premium class of four wheel drive cars. The ongoing popularity of X6 SAV is because of the highly expressive design that fuses elegant and athletic lines of coupe with distinctive character of BMW X model, and outstanding driving experience offered by two powerful powerplants equipped with BMW xDrive, an intelligent four-wheel-drive system and TwinPower Turbo Technology. The X6 continues to provide Dynamic Performance Control that offers this Sports Activity Coupe unmatched agility for vehicle in its class.
Precisely tailored up front provide the 2013 BMW X6, an appearance exemplified by style and athleticism. The standard foglamps are now set in matt finish that surrounds in upper area of outer air inlets. Their more lateral and higher position highlights width of the car. The stunning 3D modeling of newly designed bars and frame, angled in lower section, makes BMW kidney grille standout noticeably in its front end. The grille bar angle is flush with bottom of headlamp units, thus creating additional horizontal line that likewise emphasizes road holding and wide track prowess of X6.
As a substitute to standard Xenon headlamps, the 2013 BMW X6 is the first Sports Activity Vehicle in its class to be offered with adaptive LED headlamps. Their bright white light ensures optimum visibility, while high quality appearance symbolizes new interpretation of BMW’s hallmark dual circular headlights. The adaptive LED headlights’ 3D shaped luminous rings are stunningly leveled off both at bottom and top and are overlaid at upper edge by LED fed accent light. The 2013 BMW X6 offers nine metallic and two non metallic colors, including Orion Silver metallic, Midnight Blue metallic and Marrakesh Brown metallic. Standard features range of X6 includes light alloy 19 inch wheel style for xDrive50i. The BMW X6 will be available in two different trim levels, which include xDrive35i that features award winning TwinPower Turbo inline-six 300 horsepower engine of BMW and xDrive50i that comes with 4.4 liter TwinPower Turbo V8 400 horsepower engine. Both powerplants are teamed up with eight-speed automatic transmission of the company for distinctive combination of efficiency and responsiveness. As additional option, its M Performance Package includes engine upgrade of +15hp and +30 pound feet of torque on X6 xDrive35i providing it 315 horsepower and 330 pound feet of torque. The increase is +40 hp +30 pound feet of torque on xDrive50i for total peak output of 440 horsepower and 480 pound feet of torque. The M Performance Package gets black chrome exhaust tips, 20-inch light alloy wheels, M foot rest and door sills, stainless steel pedals, anthracite headliner, optional Carbon Black metallic paint and shadowline exterior trim.
